Couch

Alex have you ever looked to see who the manufacturer of that couch is? I am looking at that thing and i think that thing could handle Nuclear fall out. Next time i am looking for a piece of furniture i am going to look up there catalog.

Welcome also to you, Kyle. Thanks for dropping in.

I agree with your assessment of the couch- it could survive nuclear fallout.

If the Nuclear apocolypse ever happens, the remnant will be a bunch of cock-roaches and Grandma VD's orange cordoroy couch.

FYI. The couch brand is a Flexsteel. Their tagline is "Fine Furniture Begins on the Inside." - Just like people.

An e-mail that I sent to the Flexsteel people. We'll see what comes of this...

To Whom It May Concern:

Please forward this to someone in your customer relations department. I couldn’t find this contact information on your website.

Customer Relations:

I have attached a picture of the header of my extended family’s blog (http://vandrunenfam.blogspot.com) . As you can see, we’ve incorporated one of your products- an old orange corduroy couch from Flexsteel) into this header. The Blog, “Yous Kids,” (for the term that our Grandma always uses when addressing a group of children or grandchildren) is intended to allow our extended family (in the Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana areas) to stay in touch.

We’ve used the image of your couch because in many ways, it is the symbol for conversation in our family. For years, my grandparents had this couch in their family room (the epicenter of family interactions), and the orange corduroy was always a family favorite. When they recently redecorated their family room, my brother, a college student, was quick to jump on this for his dorm room. He will graduate this year and pass it down to a cousin of ours who is entering college. The longevity and love for this piece of furniture over the decades is truly remarkable, and we wanted to thank you for your quality work.

I do have a couple questions for you
1. What is the model and year of this couch?
2. Do you still produce this couch or one similar? Many people in our family are very tall, and this is one of the few couches that we can lie down on fully stretched out.

Any help that you can offer me and my family would be appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Rudi
