it's a popular cheer that the students yell. The cheerleaders yell "Who are we?". The students respond "Vikings!!!"
My old Early Civilization teacher, Dave Zandstra, once spent about 15 minutes in class discussing how that was an awfully deep question to put on the front of a t-shirt. You're not the first one to ask about it.
Great to see the tradition of good looking grandchildren is continuing.
