If I could I'd give all you Packer fans a box of Kleenex. That game was incredible (I have to admit I was rooting for the Packers). I could hear Aunt Kathy yelling "Come on!!" all the way in Dyer. I guess I'll have to root for the Giants now that Favre is out.

Unbelievable. Who would have thought that we wouldn't dominate when we had such a consistent running attack throughout the game - except the exact opposite.
While I have now fully decompressed, I was completely numb after the game for at least 2 hours.
Thanks for your rooting interests during the game. Favre beating the undefeated Patriots in the superbowl, and then retiring in Michael Jordan-esque fashion (the 2nd time, not the first or third) would have officially cemented him as the best QB ever. Now I'm going to have to listen to this Brady/Bellichek shinanigans.
Hey i didn't see the game last night what happened? Well i'm sure the packers smoked them after reading Alex's blog from last week and all the comments to follow.I mean they just had to with the "Greatest QB ever" and THE FROZEN TUNDRA. Alex, bring on the bears? Oops!
Kyle: 1 Superbowl appearance (and loss, by the way) since 1985... years of sub-par to mediocre performance, and an endless string of sub-par Qb's? I'll take my QB and my team any day. You could easily make the case that in the last two decades, the rankings go 1. GB, 2. Minnesota, 3. Chicago, 4. Detroit in the NFC north. Only beating out the Lions over a 20 year period is not that impressive. Good thing you guys have Hester, or there'd be no reason to watch. :)
Scott: One of my ideas for this blog's name was "Come On!" with a graphic of Kathy (or "graphy")at the top of the blog shouting this now infamous phrase. But, I thought that Yous Kids had a wider range.
Kyle you are right. Pride goes before a fall - and in the case of the Bears what a long and storied fall that has been.
Scott,
I was so nervous I couldn't even watch the game. I reconciled my bank statements on Quick Books in the basement, while Brian would yell what was happening. We were recording it, so in case the Packers won, I could watch it without fear. At least I can call to mind the beautiful game against Seattle and the great season leading up to this game.
Kathy
it was like someone died.
