Kouts Basketball Highlight

Karley's basketball team won the PCC (Porter County Conference) championship game on Saturday night in Valparaiso. Our school hasn't won this tournament in 17 years. There were 4,000 people in attendance. She played a great game, having two " back -t0 -back " 3's (one a bank shot) at a crucial turning point in the game. She also posted 15 rebounds, 7 steals, 3 assists, 2 blocks, along with 8 points. She was also the recipient of the Mental Attitude Award which is given to one player from the whole conference (8 schools). It was an exciting night of Hoosier basketball at it's best. This was also the 50th anniversary of the conference tournament so it was taped for a DVD and ran live on the radio. I ordered the DVD for anyone to borrow.

We'd love to see the video. Better yet, I know the kids would like to see another game, too. It would be great to know everyone schedules, so we can see at least one of everybody's. I don't know how we could go about doing that, though.
Congrats, Karley! What an honor to get the award, again! That says a lot. Thanks for the update, Karyl. If you can't brag to your family about your kids, who can you brag to?

Karley is kicking butt and taking names. Very nice. I am especially impressed by the 15 rebounds. Keep those elbows flailing.

No reason to mention the bank shot, it counts the same. Great game Karley!

Congratulations, Karley! Now Liz Metcalfe (Trinity's bb coach) & Bill Schepel will be fighting over you.
