Pepperdine Visit

This past weekend, I was whisked away from the frigid and mundane and transported to Malibu, where the air is so dewy sweet you don't even have to lick the stamps. The reason for my travels was to visit Pepperdine's law school as part of a scholarship weekend. I paste in a picture of the campus below.

It's not Wisconsin, but nothing is perfect

I was extremely impressed by their law school, and I now know that they are a solid option to consider. Yesterday, Pepperdine sweetened the deal by offering me the scholarship for which I flew out. In the next few weeks I have to decide where to go to school next year, and I don't know how easy that will be. During spring break I am flying out to Virginia to visit the University of Virginia and the College of William & Mary. My ultimate decision might just come down to whether I would prefer to learn how to surf or engage in Civil War reenacting. In any event, I would appreciate your prayers so that I am able to make the right decision.

Wherever you are led, it would be great to come and visit. I think Kate could give some of the well-seasoned barristers a run for their money.

Congratulations on the scholarship. If only I'd gone to Ball State, the scholarship for "C" average communication students would have been mine...mine...mine.

You should really be bragging about your really smart brother, AND your really good looking brother.

Also, if you could mention me sometimes, that'd be great...

Hmmm...California coast, Virginia history??? I can get packed to visit you at either location.

Congratulations Alex! How exciting to have wonderful choices. I've been praying all along for God's leading in your decision for law school. We'll continue to uphold you.
