A few thoughts:
1) When logging in, if you forget your password, there should be a link somewhere that says "Forgot your password?". If follow this link, they will e-mail your password to the e-mail address that you use for your log-in name.
2) If you want to begin a NEW user name, you would have to start from scratch at www.google.com.
