The end of an era

I regret to inform everyone of the very real possibility that our banner item - the classic couch - might be disappearing for good in two days. Looking past graduation, the classic couch does not appear to have a future. Over the years we have tried to ignore the symptoms of the end. However, eventually one must realize that the couch isn't even comfortable to sit on, the cushions are busting open distributing strange cushioning material into the air, and the arms continue to loosen and slowly disintegrate. I do not like to be the bearer of bad news, but this seems to be the hard truth. Although in reality this might be the end, it will always live on in our hearts.

I vote we send it Florida so it can have a proper retirement.

This is a travesty. I was never consulted before we pulled the plug- expect to hear from my lawyer- I know a great one who's going to Pepperdine School of Law right now.

Also- Dad informed me that there were pictures of the couch in it's final resting place. I expect to see these posted on the blog soon. It is your duty as the final family member to see it.

Grandpa and I had the sad experience of viewing our favorite couch on the garbage heap at Trinity College while we attended Alex's graduation. We realize when material items get worn out - it is time to let them go. "Thanks for the memories."
