I just got back from a Christian Legal Society retreat so I decided to check in and give a little show and tell.
After 3 or so days of grueling travel, my Mom and I arrived at Pepperdine. We didn't take many photographs along the way, but I do have these lovely shots from a canyon in Utah.
Once I arrived I quickly got to work . After 3 days of orientation, I was ready for class to begin. This past week was the first week, and so far everything has gone well. I really haven't accomplished anything yet, but it feels good in any event. My first semester classes are Torts, Contracts, Property, Civil Procedure, and a Legal Research and Writing class. My professors are all really great, and I am starting to meet some really nice people. I'm liking the California life, and I am accepting applications for visitors effective immediately.

I'll give you $1 if you stand up and demand Tort Reform in your Torts class.
You might have to up that dollar amount. This is my favorite class so far.
It was great to hear of your trip to Pepperdine. The pictures of your trip were magnificent - your mom showed us. It sounds like you are ready to take on the world. We just finished a good day of fishing and a delicious fish-fry. Wish you were here to join us. Now Mike is serving ice cream.
Any truth to the "Pamela Anderson Jogs on Pepperdine's campus every morning" rumor?
Steph read that somewhere in People or OK or US or some like publication...
Apparently that is true, though I have yet to meet anyone who can verify that personally. I have also heard that Adam Sandler plays basketball around here and that Jim from the Office hangs out at a local Starbucks, but thus far no sightings.
Some of the only famous people I've ever seen were just down the street from Pepperdine. We saw Goldie Hawn and Shirley McClain at a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. If you see them, Goldie will talk, Shirley will snub you. We were told to steer clear of her. Anyway, thanks for sharing. It'll be fun to hear of your experiences out there.
