Enjoying Birchwood

Hello again from Birchwood. Grandma and I have gone bass/northern fishing twice so far during our trip. Tonight was a beautiful, calm night on the lake, and to add to it we caught 6 fish (3 Northern, 3 Largemouth Bass). Here are some pictures of the good times we had. Today we caught the rest of our limit with 20 crappies.

Update from Birchwood

Greetings from Birchwood! Grandma, Grandpa, and I have been having a great time at the cottage. Today we caught 46 fish on Lake Chetac and went golfing at Tagalong (Grandpa and I tied with scores of 53). We've caught around 90 fish since we got here on Monday. Almost all of them have been crappies. Yesterday was very windy. Grandma and I went out on Little Birch around 11:00am and we needed three (that's right, three) anchors to keep us from being blown into shore. We came in yesterday morning with about 10 crappies. I've been going out on the pier at night casting a spinner bait. Each night I've caught a little largemouth bass and a little Northern. They haven't been anything huge, but they're fun to reel in. Hopefully the good fishing will continue. We're well on our way to catching our limit!

Gotcha!

My boss's neighbor is living the American dream: he's invented and patented a device, and I thought that it was pretty cool... so I thought that I'd pass on the link to his website.

The "Gotcha" is a wire organizer that will hold your wires in place for mobile devices (cell phones, iPods, etc.) on end tables or book shelves.

My cell phone is my alarm clock. It sits on my night stand, and EVERY morning, when I unplug it, the cord falls behind/under the bed, and I have to search for it. This bad-boy holds it in place.

Just wanted to forward across a piece of the American Dream.
