Mockoo Shockoo

Mockoo shockoo(whats up) from Mesopotamia,
I figured out how to make these slideshows and just recently got some internet so I decided to put this all together. Things are going well and I obviously cant share too terribly much but these are few pictures of where weve been and whats going on. The story behind Chuck the duck, who appears in some of these photos, is that he has gone everywhere and does everything we do. Its a little something to make things more exciting and fun. I recently have had a blast with the locals here and drank some of the chai tea I was offered. Its rude to turn down whatever they offer and im glad i didnt because this stuff was delicious! The kids here are wonderful as well although they want and want and want. We do out best to give them essentials and candy if possible but there are too many to please them all. Im also growing a "wicked" mustache.. not really... but its comming. Actually some of the Iraqi police were making fun of it because it was blonde and thin.. it made for good conversation though. haha.. Well i hope all is well with the family back home and Ill do my best to keep in touch.

It's good to see you! The kids are going to be so excited to watch the pics when they get home.
- I like the duck on the phone the best.
- Love the stash - I think that was it or maybe it was a smudge of dirt??
- Love and prayers from us!

"I love you so much that I miss you in Iraq. I play with my toys. I took a nap today. It's Dad's night at preschool." Kate

"Hey, Craig! I just wanted to give you a little update that we are missing you so much. I can not bear to look at my picture of you every night. May God bless you and your army friends. Come back soon and see you sometime again." Justin

So glad to hear from you & see the pictures. (I guess you can't share too much or you'll have to kill us).
The mustache reminds me of Uncle Nick's when he decided to try to grow one many, many years ago.
Is sand getting into everything?- it looks like the wind could blow it everywhere.
We're praying for you every day! We love you!

So good to hear from you and see you and your friends in the video.
When we saw the duck, our comment was - That's Craig. We miss you. We sent our package yesterday - we are the second on the list. Who is your friend with you?
Love & prayers.

To get the full 1980s Nick effect, you'd have to grow out your hair & perm it besides adding the Chi Chi Rodriguez mustache. Oh, and wear plaid. I think Chuck the Duck might think of joining the world poker tour. Careful with pronouncing his name, though. We wanted to go for hamburgers in Florida with your folks & Conor & Cole, and Brian suggested "Mudf***ers. I think he meant "Fuddruckers." You should have seen Conor's face. We miss you and are praying for you.

I know Brian bribed the boys not to let anyone know what kind of language he was using in Florida. Now that the "cats out of the bag", I have to admit it gave us a lot of conversation for the week in Florida. The "can gape" comment from Nick is now "old news", and will be replaced with Brian's comment. Dyke wants to know what a "jock rocket" is....you can ask Brian about that one also.
