Sandstone Peak

Every once and a while we take a break from school to refresh our sanity. This past Saturday we hiked to the top of Mount Allen (or Sandstone Peak), which is the highest point in the Santa Monica Mountains and was donated by Mr. Allen to the Boy Scouts of America. It is not exactly Mt. Kilimanjaro, but it was a lot of fun.

Apparently I decided to rep my alma mater

Sal... your looking like a regular Les Stroud out there. Did you guys catch any small mammals with a rock/stick configuration and forced to eat it in order to survive the hike.

It was great to see your picture. The view looked spectacular. Looks like you get to do more than hit the books. Did you find an apartment for the summer yet? We are anxious to have you home sometime.

You better get up at 4:30 now in order to leave time for recreational activities like hikes. Do you think Ruth Bader Ginsburg went hiking around NYC when she was at Columbia Law School? I think not. Someone in this family is going to need a pardon someday and you're are strongest hope. Back to it!

Are you interning for Kenneth Winston Starr this summer? If so, his birthday is the same as Anneke's, July 21st in case you wanted to get him a gift.
