There was a sad day in the VanDyke family last weekend when we found out that our dog Millie was hit on Route 8. She is greatly missed. We've had her since 1999, so it's going to be weird without her. So from now on when you come visit to Kouts, you won't be greeted by a friendly beagle :(

Never easy to lose your dog. It was hard when Tracks died and he lived outside all the time.
We were sorry to hear about Millie. She always came up to me and wanted to be petted. I really liked her. She was a good dog.
