Hey Fam, How is everyone doing? Just recently we visited Sinjar Mountain and I thought most of you would find it interesting. The picture shows us in front of a 2000 year old temple which is supposedly the spot that God cast the devil into hell. Unfortunatly we werent allowed to go inside. Only the Yazidi people are allowed. The temple is called the Chermera which means 40 men. It is believed to be derived from the burial of 40 men on top of the mountain. I also found it interesting that not to far from the temple is about 6 different launch pads for scud missiles. These were used by Saddams regime to launch attacks in the Persian Gulf War, Iran-Iraq War, and even at he beginning of OIF. At the beginning of OIF they launched 8 scud missiles at US forces in Kuwait. Too bad for Saddam though, because American forces destroyed them before they ever got close to doing any damage. So a little lesson in history for the day! Take Care

I don't suppose the folks at the temple have had access to paint for the past couple hundred years.
Wow. That is incredible. I'm sure you see a lot of things that aren't reported in the news. Keep up the good work. We are praying for you and so proud!
Love from all of us.
Sweet, craig. Keep us updated on your progress.
"Hey, Craig! Everything is going right. I'm doing good. How are you doing? Did you have a gun in your pocket in the picture? You should do that duck again. He's really funny. You should put him on someone's head and take a picture. It will be very funny. Just wanted to give you a little update about today. Today Anneke had softball practice. It was very fun watching it. She is very good at it."

Craig,
"I miss you in Iraq. I hope you don't get hurt. I hope your friends be nice to you. I hope you come back to Indiana. And I love you so much. I got my hair cut today. It is up to my chin."
Love, Kate
Dear Craig,
"I love you and everything is going well here. Hope it's the same for you. We're sending you pictures and letters soon. We have a spring musical at our school and I have a solo. Today I had a softball practice. It was very muddy. Hope to hear from you soon." Love, Anneke
