Holland Fest Weekend
On the weekend of August 25th, I had nine friends (including Liz and Karley!) up to Cedar Grove to celebrate Holland Fest and participate in the 2 Mile Holland Fest Run. Sam Staal took second overall in the two mile in a blistering time of 10 minutes and 40 seconds! He also landed first place in his age group and brought home a huge trophy. My friends especially thought it was great that my dad narrated the whole parade to the entire town. We had a great time and I loved showing off Cedar Grove.

I'm still waiting for someone to retro-fit a set of wooden shoes with grips and interior padding and run the Holland-fest 2-mile.
